For your listening pleasure..
"Rohirrim Riding Song"

I hope to be sharing with you....
Horse tips..
**we have the best links on the net!**...
and trivia for the horse lover....
Don't worry about the title..
I no longer hunt....

but my whole life has been centered around

showing horses and FOXHUNTING...
so I'm just giving you an insight.

MONTY ROBERTS...
"The Man Who Listens to Horses"..
up close and personal.
Buy his book and tapes..
check out all that this site has to offer.

"Flags Is Up" Farms

(Unfortunately I am no longer able to access the "Join Up" classes
on Mr. Robert's website however if you click on the
"Flags Is Up Farms" link above - you'll be able to view
his site and find dates for his upcoming appearances in your area).

The International Learning Center, Solvang,CA, began classes on January 5, 2000.
If Monty Roberts ever comes to your area his work is a "must see."
To those of us who were brought up to break and ride a horse the way he was,
to see this man handle a horse now on a one-to-one basis is to witness a miracle.

**The statement above is MY personal viewpoint**

"Proper use of the hands is a vital factor in good horsemanship.
Because any heavy-handedness may injure
and eventually spoil
the sensitivity of the horse's mouth,
light but steady hands on the reins are of utmost importance."

  "Runaways, buckers, rearers and kickers
have no place in the hunt field.
Both horse and rider need to be reasonably fit.
Hunts last several hours
and frequently cover challenging terrain."

  Next to C.W. Anderson,

Sam Savitt
is at the top of my "artist list."
And if you're looking for that
elusive HORSE CHART this is the place to visit !!

Please note: They have shut down the aol site and this is the new one.

"FYI"... Sam Savitt was the official artist for the U.S. Equestrian Team.

"Author of 15 books, official artist for the United States
Equestrian Team, and Lifetime Achievement honoree
of the North American Horseman's Association,
Mr. Savitt's work touched thousands of lives
and brought joy to equine lovers of all ages."
